Welcome to The Wilmington Rowing Center |
|
The Wilmington Rowing Center boathouse is located in downtown Wilmington on the Christina River along the Riverwalk - find us in the southeast corner of the Shipyard Shops. We have more than 150 active members who range from 14 to 75 years of age and we are the home of the Concord High School, Delaware Military Academy, and St. Mark's High School crew teams. Wilmington Rowing Center is open to rowers of all skills - raw novices, people with 50 years in the sport, and rowers of every level of experience in between. We offer summer lessons for anyone interested in learning how to row. Classes are held weekends from May through August. |

WILMINGTON -- Angels, pirates, reindeer, a human menorah and the Grinch don't typically team up to serve the same purpose.
Several of each took to the Christina River in solidarity Saturday to raise money for a good cause -- and show off their ingenuity. Costumed rowers came out on a cold, windy Saturday morning for the Santa Row, the Wilmington Rowing Center's annual fundraiser for the Ministry of Caring. |
